Is Munchkin a good baby bottle brush?

November 1st, 2009

After having three kids, I have tried so many different kinds of bottle brushes over the years. I find that one of the best bottle cleaner that I have ever used is the Munchkin Baby Bottle Brush.

It is like having three things in one. Not only that you are able to thoroughly clean the bottle with it’s sturdy bristles, it also has a small screw in nipple brush that you can use to clean the nipple or hard to reach small edges of the bottle, which is great. Once you are done with the small nipple brush you can easily hide it in the bottom of the brush and on the other side of it is a suction cup on the bottom so it won’t get lost. The suction cup makes it easy to stay in place on the sink until you need it. It is easier to grab a hold of the brush when it is time for you to wash the bottles.

The other brands of brushes I have used are often flimsy and doesn’t last that long. With the Munchkin Baby Bottle brush you can choose from a variety of colors that adds color to your kitchen. The handle is sturdy and is shaped perfectly which makes it easy to grab hold of and use. The nipple brush is well hidden in the handle for easy storage. The suction cup sticks to the counter.

What else can you ask for. It is perfect. I highly recommend this product, it will get the job done and the price is very affordable.

How do I remove milk stains from baby bottles?

October 5th, 2009

Don’t you just hate it when you see those milk stains on your baby’s feeding bottles? If you washed those bottles immediately, then those stains would come off real easy. Unfortunately some of us aren’t so quick in washing them as there are other things that need to be done before we can wash them. From the long span of time that those baby formula are left in the baby bottles, those stains now will be hard to remove.

Running water thru the bottles won’t remove the stains easily so this is the best method of getting those bottles looking spic and span. It’s a simple process that anyone can do. First thing to do is run the bottles thru running water to remove some of the easier stains out. Get a handy dandy sponge or brush and soap it up. The soap will soften the stain somewhat.

After soaping them, the bottles are put in a pot filled with hot water but not boiling water and let them sit for a few minutes. Make sure the bottles are completely submerged in the hot water. The normal time recommended leaving them there is about 10 minutes or so. After the 10 minutes, the bottles are taken out from the water with a thong as they will be hot. Let them cool a bit and soap them up again using a sponge or brush.

This final washing should do the trick and leave you with clean and milk stain free baby bottles.

Is Dr.Brown’s a good baby feeding bottle?

September 19th, 2009

Adults and infants will benefit from these baby bottles. Try them first, and you’ll save money by not having to purchase a different brand. They may be a bit more expensive, but your investment will be worth it. These bottles work!

If you have a baby who demonstrates spitting up (reflux), burping or gas issues, ear infections, he or she is most likely sucking in too much air when bottle feeding. Dr. Brown’s baby bottles will greatly reduce and possibly eliminate these problems. They also help reduce colic in fussy babies which not only benefits the baby, put caretakers as well!

Dr. Brown is a physician who created baby bottles that have a special vent system inside them. This patented internal vent system works by producing pressure that eliminates air and a vacuum effect. They are a wise choice for babies and have received rave reviews by mothers. These baby bottles allow the food to flow easier resulting in less struggling by your baby to get fed and less air intake. Babies are able to feed peacefully and settle down for sleeping. Dr. Brown’s baby bottles are also offered in a variety of styles to suit your baby. Nipples or teats are available in regular, wide, and flex and the bottles are available in regular and wide mouth. An added bonus is that they are easy to clean with multiple parts that detach easily and dishwasher safe!

What more could you ask for?
