Babies often like the silicon teats over latex; first, because of the taste, as mentioned above. Second, because it is a bit softer and gentle on the gums. I am not saying that latex teats are not. They are, but the degree of softness is a bit different. Make your baby happy always even in little ways like having to use good teats and nipples. But of course, make sure to use BPA-Free Bottles all the time for the safety of your baby.
